Spencer is a 7th grader
at a school in the
Cherokee Nation.

a booger mask and effigy mask artist, and
winner of the 2007 Cherokee National
Treasure, lives in the heart of the Cherokee
Nation.  He is married to basket artist, and
Cherokee National Treasure, Shawna Morton

Lucille Hair works on a blanket in
her shop in Briggs, Cherokee
County, OK. Hair was part of an
original group of Cherokee
weavers, and has taught the art to
both her daughter and
granddaughter, for over 55 years.
